Our Solid Teak Maritime Library Steps can easily convert from a comfy seat, to practical steps in one easy movement. Simply pull the back of the chair down and towards you. The bottom back half of the chair will lift upwards, converting into steps. This makes the Maritime Library Steps one of our more practical items.
Our Solid Teak Maritime Library Steps are available in an oiled or un-oiled finish. An un-oiled finish gives the Library Steps a more natural look, which never fails to impress. You can also apply our teak sealer to the un-oiled finish, which keeps the natural look whilst providing you with protection from mould/mildew, UV light, moisture & colour loss.
An oiled finish gives your furniture a look & feel of quality to them. If your oiled steps do get marked or scratched, simply give it a light sanding with fine paper and re-apply our Teak Oil. Also, one of the main benefits of an oiled finish is that the oil applied to the furniture gives a degree of protection from weather & UV light. This allows you to leave your furniture outside overnight with no real need to worry about your furniture becoming damaged**.
